Updated School Calendar – Loughmore NS:  2021-2022

Monday 30th of August 2021– Croke Park Day for all staff members (no pupils )

 Tuesday 31st of August 2021- Classes are back to school. School opens to receive pupils at 9.05am. Classes start at 9.20am. Infants and Solas finish at 1pm this week. 

Friday 22nd October: School closes at 12.30pm to facilitate a half-in/half-out staff meeting as per Department guidelines. Pupils may wear Halloween costumes to school today.

 Monday 25th - Friday 29th of October – (inclusive) – Halloween Mid-term break. School re-opens
Monday November 1st 2021

Friday 3rd December:  School Closed  (Re-opens Monday 6th December)

Tues 22^nd of December - School closes for the Christmas holidays at 12.30pm. School re-opens on Thursday 6^th of January 2021.

Friday 18th February – School closes at 12.30pm to facilitate a half-in/half-out staff meeting as per Department guidelines.

NB: Friday 12^th of February: Closing date for applications for our Solas (ASD) Unit for September 2022.

18th February: Closing date for Mainstream classes.  Please note also that new pupils with 
Special Educational Needs enrolling in our mainstream classes for September 2022 will need to have their enrolment applications completed and returned to the school by 18th February complete with the relevant professional reports, due to NCSE deadlines March/April.

Thursday 17^th March & Friday 18th March:  School is closed for the 2 days. 
School re-opens on Monday 21st March

School will remain closed from Monday 11th April  – Friday 22nd April (inclusive) for the Easter Holidays. School reopens on Monday 25th of April.

May Bank Holiday Weekend: School will be closed on Monday 2nd of May for the Bank Holiday.

Standardised testing (Sigma T and Micra T) dates to be confirmed

**Thursday 2nd June – School will be closed to facilitate staff meeting as per Department guidelines.

June Bank Holiday Weekend: Friday 3rd June – Monday 6th of June (inclusive) -
school re-opens on Tuesday 7th June. 

**Friday 28th of June – School closes for the Summer Holidays at 12.30pm
